Vreemd he? |

- jp |

Inmiddels erkenning van probleem. Zie mail die ik vandaag heb ontvangen:
If you receive the error message "FATAL ALERT. LauncherMain.c, Line:9128, could not complete the operation because the system is out of dynamic memory" when using the application menu from the launcher, this means that you have reached the maximum number of files permited in the handheld memory. This is a recognised issue in PalmOS 5.0 and we are working on an OS update, to rectify the situation. To resolve this issue, you can complete the following: I/ Clear WebBrowser Pro cache : 1. Tap the 'Applications' icon (Home). 2. Tap the 'Web Pro' icon. 3. Tap the 'Menu' icon. 4. Tap 'Options', and then tap 'Preferences' 5. Tap the 'Advanced' tab. 6. Tap the 'Clear Cache on exit' button. 7. Exit Palm Web Browser Pro. II/ Perform a Hard Reset and rename your 'Backup' folder: NOTE: If you use this process, third party applications will not be reinstalled. To perform a Hard Reset : 1. Press and hold the power button on the Palm handheld. 2. While holding down the power button, use the reset tip tool (or a similar object without a sharp tip), to gently press the reset button inside the hole on the back panel of your Palm handheld. 3. Release the reset button. 4. When the 'Palm Computing Platform/Palm Powered logo' appears on screen, release the power button. If you enter the 'Preferences' screen, please return to step '1'. 5. When the message appears on screen, warning that you are about to 'Erase all data', press the upper half of the scroll/navigation control (on the front panel) to complete the hard reset and display the digitizer screen. To rename the 'Backup' folder, please use the instructions below: 1. On Windows Desktop, double click 'My Computer' 2. Navigate to 'C:\Program Files\Palm' (or C:\Palm if you upgraded from a previous version of Palm Desktop) 3. In the 'Palm' Folder, double click on the ['username'] folder. (note it can be a truncated version of your username) 4. In your ['username'] folder, right click on the 'Backup' folder and select 'Rename'. 5. Replace 'Backup' with 'Backup0' 6. Close all screens to return to the Windows Desktop. 7. You can now perform a HotSync Operation. Alternatively, you can delete all other files or records that are not necessary (images, VoiceMemos,...). For further information, please reply to this specific email. Kind regards, Vincent, Palm Technical Support |

Thank you for your mail. At the moment we do not have the information to give to you. |
