Fotokwaliteit in Agendus

In Agendus kun je net als in de standaard PIM een foto zetten bij de contactinformatie. Als ik dat in Agendus (9.02) doe, wordt het een korrelige 256 kleurenfoto.

Kan dat anders?

(op de forums van Agendus heb ik niets kunnen vinden)

Ooit kon het wel mooi, maar het dynamic-heap geheugen van de Tungsten|T(2) was daarvoor te klein. Resultaat was dat deze 2 tungstens steeds crashten. Als 'oplossing' heeft iambic toen gekozen om alle plaatjes in 256 kleuren te tonen.
Nu heb jij een Tungsten|T5, en die kan dat wel prima aan, maar het gaat dus niet
Misschien als je een mail stuurt naar iambic, en vraagt of ze slechts op enkele modellen het aantal kleuren beperking, ze dat willen doen.

Ik heb als "feature request" gesuggereerd dat ze het als instelbare optie implementeren. Als de activiteit van iambic zo groot is als de discussies doen vermoeden kan het misschien nog wat opleveren ook...

Hi,

actually the reason of the color depth downsampling on the T5 is different. We
had to force 256 colors in the picture selection dialog in order to workaround a
failure error appearing when rotating the screen and apparently caused by color
depths conflicts.

We will reintroduce 16 bits colors in the photo picker as soon as we'll find a
way to better address the original problem (apparently caused by the opsys not
behaving as expected in certain situations).
