Hoi!
Ik ben op zoek naar een programma om de meterstanden van gas, water en licht bij te houden op mijn Palm. Momenteel doe ik het met TinySheet, maar dat is zo omslachtig. Iemand een idee of een dergelijk programma bestaat? (Zoeken op deze site heeft niets opgeleverd). Bvd en vr.gr., pven |

Misschien zelf een database maken of een bestaande aanpassen? Zelf gebruik ik HandBase, één van de simpelste op dat gebied.

Je kunt ook HandyShopper gebruiken. Dit is een gratis database.

Jammer! Dan houdt ik het voorlopig toch ff bij TinySheet, tenzij er een kant-en-klaar programma in omloop komt. (HandyBase registreren om het daarna zelf te moeten gaan maken zie ik ook niet te zitten)

Je kunt handybase gratis uitproberen, op hun website zijn ook honderden gratis databeesjes beschikbaar, misschien is er al zoiets. En geloof mij, het zelf in elkaar draaien zonder handleiding kost je hooguit een uurtje
Maar TinySheet is verder een mooi programma daarvoor. Succes, M@rt

... en als je eenmaal databeesjes aan het maken bent, zoals DeM@rt al zei, krijg je vast de smaak te pakken. De ene na de andere database vloeit er uit je Palm. Bestaande databases heb ik soms naar eigen wens aangepast. Zo heb ik voor mijn DVD-collectie, de Kilometeradministratie, Registratienummers van software, omzetcijfers, Kasboek, etc. in enkele uren een database gemaakt.

In handyshopper heb ik aangemaakt (ik heb er meer, gewoon gedownload vanuit de usergroep):
- Artikel: bevat gegevens van artikels die ik gelezen heb, wat trefwoorden en waar ik het terug kan vinden. Je kent dat vast wel, je leest in een tijdschrift of krant een interessant artikel, en na een maand denk je 'waar heb ik dat nu gelezen.....' Ff een find op keyword en voila - Lyrics: bevat songteksten, ik heb het een Engelse naam gegeven omdat ik het aan de usergroep heb geupload. Ik haal de songteksten van http://www.lyrics.com en met wat knip en plakwerk verschijnen ze op de Palm. In HanDBase heb ik aangemaakt: - Uitgaven: soort van kasboek om mijn uitgaven in de gaten te houden. - Sport: om loop- en fietsprestaties vast te leggen. - Autobrandstof: verbruik auto bijhouden - Adressen Schaakvereniging - Videotape: Wat staat op welke band De twee databaseprogramma's zijn flink verschillend en hebben zo hun eigen toepassingsgebied. Leuke van HanDBase is toch wel het bouwen van een database. Het bijhouden van een database is een stuk lastiger heb ik gemerkt Groet, M@rt

Mijn werk is 'Oracle programmeur / Oracle developer', dus om in mijn vrije tijd ook nog iets met databeesten te doen .... Dat is ook de reden waarom ik geen database-applicatie op mijn Palm heb staan.
Ik ga er misschien nog naar kijken. Dank voor jullie reacties! |

'k ben uiteindelijk met de nieuwe versie ook overstag gegaan. Ik geef toe: er zijn weinig freeware progs die zo goed zijn!
