GPRS connection problem with TREO 650 via Proximus Belgium
Unfortunately I do not speak Dutch (but can perfectly understand it) as I am from Luxembourg and living in Brussels.
Since beginning July 07, I can no longer connect to the Internet nor download my mails from Telenet with my TREO 650. I was Chello before but they have been taken over by Telenet in the meantime. Is it possible to download Telenet mails via Proximus server? Could you please tell me all the settings I should use (network and account set up settings for VersaMail) please? I think my GPRS connection to Proximus still works (I can see the little black triangle on top of the bars) in the upper right corner but then all of a sudden when it gets to download my mails I get the message from Versamail: Unable to establish PPP connection. If I try to connect to Internet I get from Blazer: Brower Error: Unknown Error. URL: filestream: ExgDataFile. Unfortunately Proximus does no longer support the PALM PDA products and I did not find any answer on this particular Belgian question in Palmclub! I did not install any new programs and it worked without any problems during more than 1 year! Thanks a lot in advance for kind assistance and best regards from Belgium! Martine |

Hoe maak je verbinding met het internet? Een PPP-verbinding doet me denken dat je dat via je computer doet, terwijl het zwarte driehoekje weer op GPRS duidt. Als je inderdaad via GPRS werkt, denk ik dat je per ongeluk wat instellingen hebt aangepast. Probeer onder Prefs, Network eens een nieuwe GPRS verbinding aan te maken en daarmee te verbinden.

I connect via GPRS not via PC. I tried what you said and the connection itself works. Then I get SIGNING ON and then "Service Connection Progress" CANCELING! Why CANCELING? Here it normally downloaded my mails formerly.

Ik krijg canceling alleen te zien wanneer ik iets fout instel (bv het APN) of de ontvangst erg slecht is. Probeer eens een soft reset en alle settings na te lopen. Wanneer alles toch in orde is, kijk dan eens of het na een harde reset wel werkt of neem contact op met je mobiele provider om te kijken of er problemen zijn met GPRS op hun netwerk.
