Na contact met Palm ben ik er achter:

" I understand you are unable to use your Palm(TM) Desktop software. I realize the inconvenience caused due to the issue.

When using the Password feature with the new Palm(TM) Desktop
version 4.0.1, please ensure there are not any capitalized letters in
the password entered.

The password feature only accepts lowercase letters. Using capital
letters will result in an error message.

If the issue persists, to resolve the issue you will have to re-enter
the password in small letters on the Palm handheld.

*Re-assigning a Password*

1. Tap the Security icon, on the application screen.

2. Tap the box next to Password. The box should say Assigned.

3. Enter your password and tap OK.

4. Enter the new password in small letters and tap OK.

5. Re-enter the new password to verify and tap OK.

6. Perform a HotSync operation."

Belachelijk natuurlijk, maar het is even niet anders...
Ben wel aan het kijken naar alternatieven als Teallock, maar vind ik toch enigszins prijzig. Iemand freeware oplossingen?!
