Hey Everyone !

At this stage everyone on Kickstarter should have received multiple versions of the ACL software, but there were still many obstacles to overcome.

OpenMobile and PIC have been working diligently to deliver updates and a more complete ACL for webOS solution. Here's a brief update:

We are pleased to announce that OpenMobile has resolved the missing attribution and GPL licensing issues raised at first launch. All parties involved are satisfied with the solution and have approved the distribution of a new and revised IPK.

We continue to move forward to provide each and everyone of you an updated release of the ACL for webOS as soon as possible. However, OpenMobile and PIC want to ensure that we are going to provide you with a quality piece of software right out of the gate. For this, they are taking one more pass through our known issues list, resolving some issues that might have gotten in the way of the best user experience and performance possible upon initial install of ACL for webOS onto your TouchPad.

So far much progress has already been made. We intend to have weekly updates on Kickstarter providing you with progress as we continue to work toward a launch date.We understand your frustration and eagerness to get ACL for webOS on your HP TouchPads as soon as possible and we are doing everything we can to make this happen.

Please let us know how ACL has been working for you so far. We would be glad if you could give us the details and problems you may have run into using your current version.

Also, be aware that as our backers you will be the very first to know when the software becomes available again.
